Telethon Kids Institute Study

The Telethon Kids Institute is currently working o on a study involving kids with Neuromuscular disorders (i.e. muscular dystrophy, Duchenne etc.).

Their research project is trying to help children with Neuromuscular Disorders who have difficulty breathing, with lung failure a serious problem in these kids

They  need healthy kids aged 5-16 years of age, to do some short breathing and exercise tests to test their lung function and compare it to children with neuromuscular disorders. This will help us predict how breathing changes in children with neuromuscular disorders to help prevent the onset of lung failure.

They  welcome anyone keen to volunteer and can sign off on any volunteer hours.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us by  email Tiffany.Bradshaw@telethonkids.org.au or calling our team study phone on 0432 503 702, for any questions, further information or interest in volunteering.
